Welcome to 2021! I thought by now I’d have posted at least a half dozen times…but goodness, we are busy! Most of our calls the past 2 weeks have been from our northern friends looking for last minute rentals…the rental inventory got scooped up quickly. There is a very low inventory as many investment properties are being occupied by the owner who realized they can work from home, therefore why not be in Naples! Who can blame them?
Our listing inventory, both single family homes and condos, is also quite low; as reported yesterday in our weekly broker’s round-table, Naples currently has a 2.3 month supply! Thank goodness for the new construction communities which are filling in the gaps in most price ranges. We are out scouting throughout SW Florida, getting familiar with all the new home neighborhoods, so that we can help our prospects identify the best place to call “home”. There are dozens of new home communities! Keep in mind their salespeople represent the developer, so it is always best to have an independent real estate agent as an advocate. We can be available to help throughout the building process and well after construction is complete!
